Privacy policy

What we store
Pool details, test results, dosing history, reminders and settings. All of it is stored on your device. No PoolTally server receives this data and we never sell it.
Data we collect
- App activity and diagnostics — anonymous usage events (screens opened, features used) through Firebase Analytics and crash reports (stack trace, device model, OS version, app version) through Firebase Crashlytics. These are tied to a random installation identifier, not to your name.
- Email address — only if you choose Google sign-in. We receive your email address and nothing else. In a future version it will sync your history between your devices.
- Remote settings — the app fetches configuration values (for example the minimum supported version) from Firebase Remote Config. This request carries the same anonymous installation identifier.
We do not collect your location, contacts, photos, or any payment information. PoolTally has no ads and no in-app purchases.
How we use it
To calculate your doses on-device, to send the reminders you set, to understand which features are used and to find and fix crashes. We do not use your data for advertising or profiling.
Who we share it with
Analytics, crash and configuration data is processed by Google LLC through Firebase, acting as our service provider under the Firebase privacy terms. Google sign-in is provided by Google and governed by the Google privacy policy. We share data with no one else, except when required by law.
Permissions
Notifications, for the reminders you set. No location, camera or contacts.
Your choices
Analytics and crash reporting can be turned off at any time in Settings. Google sign-in is optional; you can sign out at any time in Settings.
Security
Data on your device is protected by your device's own storage protection. Data sent to Firebase is encrypted in transit with TLS and stored on Google's infrastructure.
Retention and deleting data
Your pool data stays on your device until you delete it: Settings → Delete all data. Uninstalling also removes everything. Anonymous analytics and crash data is kept by Firebase only for its standard retention period and then deleted automatically. To delete your account or any synced data, write to hoanganhnguyen1712@gmail.com; we handle requests within 7 days.
Children
PoolTally is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
Changes
We may update this policy. The new version is published at this address and shown in the app before it takes effect.
